hi, if you just voted - thank you. from now until 11/3, i will make a drawing of everyone who votes. here are some examples from 2018.

ok, some guidelines:

first, after you vote, please send me a photo of yourself that you’d like me to work from. otherwise i have to creep your instagram or something and neither of us want that. i’m working directly from that photo so if you’d like to be drawn in a mask, wear your mask (if you want your “I Voted” sticker in it, wear the sticker)

in-person voting is not the safest option for everyone and you might be sending an absentee/mail-in ballot. that is totally ok and you can still participate. this whole project is built on trust, so i’m just going to trust you and ask you to please not take advantage.

not required, but encouraged:

yes, i am cool with drawing you, your partner, and/or all of your pets together. however, since those just tend to take more time, i ask that you please make a donation (whatever size you’re comfortable with) to any of the following organizations:

ACLU
Jolt Action
Brennan Center for Justice
League of United Latin American Citizens
League of Women Voters

drawings will be made in the order their received. however, if you make a contribution to any of the above listed organizations as a group or individual, include a photo of your receipt and you will be bumped to the front of the line. this donation is not required to participate but is very appreciated.

also, maybe tell me why you’re voting. this is going to be a very messy, historic election that will be drawn out over a couple months at the end of a garbage fire year. you don’t have to tell me, but it would be nice to hear something about you.
